Material Composition and Types

● Pure Copper Wire Mesh: It is mainly made of copper with a relatively high purity, usually with a copper content of over 99%. 

● Alloy Copper Wire Mesh: Besides pure copper wire mesh, there are also alloy copper wire meshes, such as brass wire mesh (copper-zinc alloy) and phosphor bronze wire mesh (copper-phosphorus alloy).

Physical Characteristics

● Mesh Shape and Size: The mesh shapes of copper wire mesh are rich and diverse.

● Flexibility and Strength: Copper wire mesh generally has a certain degree of flexibility and can withstand a certain degree of bending and stretching without breaking easily.  

Chemical Characteristics

● Corrosion Resistance: Pure copper wire mesh will slowly oxidize in the air to form a layer of copper oxide protective film, which can resist further corrosion to a certain extent. However, in harsh environments such as those that are wet, acidic, or alkaline, the corrosion rate may accelerate. The corrosion resistance of alloy copper wire meshes varies according to their alloy compositions. For example, phosphor bronze wire mesh has good tolerance in corrosive media such as seawater, and brass wire mesh also has its own characteristics in terms of corrosion resistance in the face of some chemical substances.

Weaving Process and Structural Features

● Weaving Process: Copper wire mesh is mainly woven. Common weaving methods include plain weave, twill weave, and satin weave. The copper wire mesh with plain weave has a tight structure, a flat mesh surface, and good stability. The copper wire mesh with satin weave has a smooth surface and good gloss.

● Multi-layer Structure (Optional): To meet specific functional requirements, copper wire mesh can be made into a multi-layer structure.
